The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), enacted on July 26, 1990, stands as a landmark civil rights law aimed at eliminating discrimination against individuals with disabilities.

The IRIS Advisory Committee (IAC) is a workgroup established to provide recommendations to Department of Health Services (DHS) program staff on programmatic issues related to administration of the IRIS program. Committee members are individuals who have relevant knowledge, experience, expertise, and community relationships that allow them to present ideas, opinions, or facts for the betterment of the IRIS program.

ODC’s Board Members are incredibly dedicated to our Mission and Vision and Pat Gall is just another example of someone who is passionate about his role.

This month-long campaign serves as a platform to educate communities, dispel myths, and celebrate the unique strengths and abilities of individuals with autism.

In an inclusive initiative by Better Together Friends, a recent curling event unfolded with a unique twist – individuals with disabilities taking center stage to learn and enjoy the sport for the first time.
