Men's Shed Planning and Discussion
This is an initial meeting to gauge interest in starting a Men's Shed group in the area. Join as for snacks and an open discussion surrounding common interests, insights on monthly meetings and activities and how your feedback could shape the future group as a whole.
Don't know what Men's Shed is all about? Click here for more information: https://usmenssheds.org/what-is-mens-shed/
This initial interest-gathering meeting will take place at ODC-The Berkshire Building at 1443 Water St. in Stevens Point from 5:00-6:00pm.
If you have questions regarding this meeting, please reach out to Anna Morehouse at 715-818-6445 or email her at amorehouse@odcinc.com for more information.
WHY we think this is important for our community:
Most men have learned from our culture that they don’t talk about feelings and emotions many do not take an interest in their own health and well-being. Becoming a member of a Men’s Shed provides a safe and busy environment where men can find many of these things in an atmosphere of old-fashioned friendship. And, importantly, there is no pressure. Men can just come and have a chat or dig in and work on a project.
