Children’s Long-term Support
ODC provides outcome and strength based supports to children and youth and their families. Specific approaches include expressive therapies (i.e. recreational, art and music therapy) to develop strengths and work on identified needs and goals. Every support and service plan is tailored to the individual’s specific assessed needs, goals, and interests.
Daily Living Skills
Skill development in performing daily tasks independently. Includes, but not limited to:
Personal care, hygiene, cleaning and daily routines
Cooking
Personal safety at home and in the community
Community navigation and resources
Hobby and leisure development
Sports and fitness
Money management and budgeting
Community Integration Services
Participants and their families become fully engaged in their community. Utilize individual and family strengths and interests to help them successfully integrate while accessing community resources and activities.
Individualized strategies and services include:

Parent education and training opportunities
Creative community integration activities
Developing and nurturing of natural supports
After School & Summer Supports
Provides children with disabilities access to tools outside of the school setting to build confidence and grow their success in their academic, home, and social lives.
