Michele Losey (MAC, LPC-IT)
ASSISTANT DIRECTOR OF MENTAL HEALTH SERVICES
mlosey@odcinc.com | 715-818-6489
I began my career in mental health through years of working at various non-profits such as the YMCA and United Way Fox Cities before moving to Central Wisconsin and starting with ODC. I discovered a shared passion within our team that has led me to return to school for further credits to become eligible for state licensure in counseling through Lakeland University’s Clinical Counseling Program. My approach to therapy is driven by the client and emphasizes building client-confidence and resiliency. I am continuing to grow in the areas of trauma-informed care, anxiety, grief and post-traumatic care. Outside of work, you can find me relaxing with my family and pet dogs.s here

Trina Howard (LCSW)
MENTALHEALTH CLINIC ADMINISTRATOR
I graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a Master’s Degree in Social Work with concentration in mental health/ substance abuse. I am currently a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I am compassionate about problem solving barriers to services to those in need. I am interested in how communities can help disprove mental health stigma in the community, yet help support individuals in the community who struggle with mental health issues. I am determined to help individuals with mental health disorders and substance use disorders to improve their success in their recovery journey. My approach is a multimodal approach which provides a holistic view of a patient’s issues and tailors an individual treatment plan. Some approaches used are Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trust-Based Relational Intervention(TBRI), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Brainspotting (BSP) while incorporating aspects of art, play and music therapy techniques. I have experience in group, individual, school based, family and couples therapy with ages ranging from 3-older adults. I have provided therapy for those struggling with a variety of symptoms including but not limited to depression, anxiety, trauma, relationship issues, ADHD, ODD and sensory reprocessing disorder. Although not certified as a substance abuse counselor, I have volunteered in my community to support individuals with addiction issues for over 30 years. I also have a child who is on the autism spectrum and understand the challenges that a parent with special needs may face.

MENTAL HEALTH THERAPIST
jportillo@odcinc.com | 715-818-6465
I graduated from UW-Stout with a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with an emphasis in Alcohol and Drug Use and Eating Disorders. I strongly believe that mental and emotional health are tied to our physical and social health and all dimensions of wellness should be examined. I enjoy working with many populations, but in particular, teens and men who struggle with anger and emotional intimacy. My role as a husband, soldier, and certified trainer has challenged me to adapt my perspective and ensure I help aid individuals in bettering their lives on purpose and with purpose.

Yer Yang (MS, LPC-IT)
MENTAL HEALTH THERAPIST
yyang@odcinc.com | 715-818-6450
My refugee family background has allowed me to see various intersectional impacts on an individual’s mental health which helped me develop a passion to help, give back, improve advocacy and accessibility for evidence-based mental health resources for marginalized individuals and communities. I graduated with my B.S. in Human Development and Family Studies from the UW-Stout, where I had the privilege to reflect on my own mental health and observed the lack of knowledge about mental health with marginalized individuals and communities. I have ten years of working in various mental health-related jobs such as providing behavioral therapy to children with Autism, working with at-risk adolescent in group homes and afterschool programs, providing services to adults with disabilities to become independence in their homes, and working with domestic violence and sexual assault victims. This inspired me to pursue and graduate with my Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the Family Institute at Northwestern University. My goal is to provide a safe psychoeducational space for multiculturalism and marginalized individuals and communities. I want to help my clients find their autonomy and strength by working through their own challenges and build positive coping skills. I have experience working with many populations with special interest in anxiety, depression, ADHD, and trauma.

Tricia Wierzba (LPC-IT)
MENTAL HEALTH THERAPIST
twierzba@odcinc.com | 715-818-6460
As a therapist, my goal is to help clients work through the challenges they face in ways that align with their values and that strengthen their connection to themselves and their lives. I bring a deep understanding of what it’s like to sit in the client’s chair and how challenging and rewarding this process can be. With that in mind, I aim to make the therapy process as meaningful and comfortable for clients as possible. My approach is informed by trauma principles, which means I understand how past experiences can ripple through every aspect of our lives. I work to create a safe space to explore these impacts, empowering clients to move forward in a way that feels authentic and sustainable. I am psychodynamically oriented and incorporate elements of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and CBT. Rather than just “fixing” thoughts, I prefer to focus on understanding their origins and helping clients accept and navigate them without letting them take over. I have worked with a range of mental health conditions and have a special interest in neurodivergences, depression, anxiety, trauma, and attachment.
