Make em and take em!

Day Services participants from Wisconsin Rapids, Stevens Point and Marshfield were all smiles as they worked on their Milkweed Market “Make and Take Scarecrow Project”. Each participant completed their project to take home for themselves, or to give as a gift.

Milkweed Market was created by Opportunity Development Centers, Inc. (ODC) as a business with a mission: to empower people with disabilities to achieve their work and life goals. In many cultures around the world, milkweed is a symbol of growth and transformation; it is a reflection of ODC’s goal to facilitate growth and positive transformation in the lives of people with disabilities.

This same project is being offered as a class through Milkweed Market. Since we filled up our 1st Scarecrow Make & Take Class, we have another session available for all you artists! Join us Wednesday, September 4 from 5-7pm. Just $25 and we provide the supplies, expert advice + FUN!
